NFR27 Electrical CTF

The boards aren't here yet, so the boards come to you: a simulated STM32 education board in the cloud.

  1. Register, then create or join your team.
  2. Download the starter firmware project. It is the lab repo you already know (Labs/Lab_1 ... Lab_4, same handouts and TODOs), generated by STM32CubeMX for an STM32H743 because that's what the simulator runs. Open it in VS Code with the STM32Cube extension and build the Debug preset, exactly like the lab README says.
  3. Each challenge is one part of a lab. Its link opens a bench: a live visual of the board (LED, IMU, force sensor, CAN bus) where you upload build/Debug/nfr27_ctf.elf. Your firmware runs in Renode against models of the real chips.
  4. Pass every check and the bench prints your team's flag. Submit it on the challenge. Flags are different for every team.

Stuck? Each bench has a Reference run that shows what a passing board does, and every failed check tells you what it saw.
